Ingredients :
Moong dal / Pasiparupu - 1 cup
water - 3-4 cups
onion - 1
tomato - 1
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
g.chillies - 3-4
potato - 1
g.peas - 1/2 cup
carrot - optional
salt - according to your taste,oil
Dry Ingredients :
Chillie powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
saunf - 1/2 tsp
cinnamon,cloves - 1
Method :
Wash the moong dal and pressure cook with onion ,tomato, g.chillies,potato and green peas.(allow 1-2 whistle).
In a Pan add oil and and then season it with the cinnamon and cloves and add little onion saunf and ginger garlic paste,saute it for 1 sec and then add the boiled Moong dal and alllow it to boil for 5 min.pls don't forget to add SALT.Then relish it with Idli,Dosa,chappathi,Roti
